2025 MOASC Young Investigator Award
Program Summary
The proposed research project should be a new project intended to support clinical and translational oncology research.
Projects should account for the 1-year term of the grant and the funding allocation provided and will be assessed based on both academic merit and feasibility.
The funding decision will be made by the MOASC Board of Directors.
Applicant Eligibility Criteria:
• Have an MD or DO degree with an intent to practice clinical oncology.
• Have initiated or completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in hematology and/or oncology.
• Be no more than 7 years beyond completion of fellowship training.
• Practice at a Southern California institution for the full duration of the award (1 year).
Application Details:
• The amount of funding available for this grant is $25,000.
• One grant will be awarded.
• The duration allows for a 1-year term.
• The funding provided is intended to support clinical and translational work to advance the treatment approach for patients with cancer.
